Domaine de Couzard-Lassalle

La famille Morel est originaire de Suisse, plus exactement du canton de Vaux à côté de Lausanne. Dès 1956, les premières distillations donnent des armagnacs fins, racés, élégants. Monsieur Morel sélectionne des chênes afin de construire des cuves de grande taille dans lequel les armagnacs de la propriété vieilliront pendant 40 ans et plus. Le cépage baco est privilégié et donne après des d’années des résultats époustouflants.

Description :
Upon his return from Algeria, M. Cazenave took up two very different ‘activities’; he managed a large medical laboratory in Nice and started farming in Armagnac. An honorary Gascon, he quickly realised the folle blanche grape variety was of particular interest and most of his vineyard is given over to it…..and the results are there to prove he was right. His armagnacs are particularly elegant and distinguished and bring to mind eaux de vie from times ‘pre-phylloxera.
