Description :
The Jouatmaou estate is located on exceptional terroir in the village of Frêche. The production of armagnac is a tradition here, as illustrates their 10 hectare vineyard. In 1939, M. Duffau started this tradition by distilling the wines from the estate (M. Duffau was also known for his mobile still, still heated in the old-fashioned way, using wood instead of gas). The cellar dates from 1795, when the big house was also built.
